About RecruitmentTools.org

The recruiting stack is confusing on purpose. We try to make it legible.

Recruiting software is sold as dozens of overlapping products with vague category names. Buyers end up with tools that duplicate each other, data split across systems, and recruiters doing manual work a different tool would have automated. RecruitmentTools.org exists to give hiring teams a map: what each category does, when it is worth buying, and which products lead it.

The Research Desk

Content is written and maintained by the RecruitmentTools.org Research Desk, a small group of former in-house recruiters, agency recruiters, and talent-operations leads who have implemented and administered most of the tools we cover. We publish as a desk rather than under individual bylines so that scores reflect a shared methodology rather than one person's preference.

What we are not

We are not a marketplace, we do not take affiliate commissions, and vendors cannot buy placement. We are not a substitute for a reference call — always run a live role through a tool before signing an annual contract.
